A43 punctures are often slow. Tractors carry mud and stones onto the carriageway around Whittlebury and Baynards Green, hedge cuttings lodge in the tread, and screws spill from lorries using the route between the M40 and the M1. Look for the flint, screw or nail head and check how near the shoulder it has gone in, since that position often settles patch versus new tyre. Then locate the locking wheel nut key, and park well away from the lorry area at the Moto site.
