The van parks alongside the damaged wheel, so the fitter needs roughly a car width free on that side and ground that is level rather than a sloping verge. Private yards on Moulton Park and bays at Sixfields suit this, provided nobody's access is blocked. A Brackley supermarket bay works if the neighbouring space is empty. With changer and balancer on board, the Brackley or Moulton Park car stays exactly where it stopped instead of crawling up the A43 on a ruined tyre.
