A flat on the A46 does not automatically mean a new tyre. Get yourself off the carriageway to somewhere safe, leave the tyre as it is and call us. A fitter comes out to where you have stopped, looks the tyre over and does the quickest safe fix, a repair if the damage allows it or a fresh tyre if it does not.
Nobody can tell you over the phone whether it can be mended, which is why we diagnose it on arrival. We check the tread, the sidewall and the rim right there beside the A46, tell you plainly what we have found and carry the tools to plug a simple puncture on the spot. Will I still have to get to a garage afterwards?
