The code to read is on the outer wall of the tyre: width, profile and rim size, then load index and speed rating. Look out for XL, or a run-flat symbol. Left and right on the same axle should wear an identical make and tread, so check the partner wheel. Say where the locking key is kept. Book the fitting at a Kenilworth drive, a University Hospital staff car park or Maybird retail park, never beside the Warwick bypass or an island approach.
Letters such as ROF, DSST or EMT moulded beside the size mark a run-flat, and the replacement should be the same type.
