An M6 puncture is a race between the screw and the next exit. A slow puncture can turn up after a match, noticed at Arena Shopping Park near J3 or on the walk back from Coventry Arena station. Leave the car in its bay in Longford and text over a picture showing the tread. Provided the hole sits within the limits of BS AU 159, the fitter repairs it in place; otherwise a replacement in the right size is sourced.
Once the car is at Corley or parked in Castle Bromwich off J5, leave the tyre as it is and wait. Squirting sealant in may feel useful, but it smears the liner and can ruin the chance of a proper repair. Look for the nail or screw, see whether it lies near a tread edge and photograph it.
