Our van is the workshop: tyre machine, wheel balancer and stock travel up the M42 to where you have parked, so the whole job happens beside the car and it never needs to move.
Leaving the M42 with a damaged tyre usually raises a second problem: getting the car to a garage. From the NEC car parks or Ventura Park in Tamworth, that means a tow, a spare you may not trust, or a space-saver with a speed limit. For a van driver at Hopwood Park, or a fleet car parked at the retail units along the A435 near Wythall, a workshop trip is simply impractical.
Instead the workshop comes out. A changing machine, balancer, torque tools and a spread of sizes all ride in the back, so the wheel is lifted clear, a new tyre goes on and gets balanced, and each nut is tightened to the figure in the handbook without the car leaving its bay. Give us the size, the location and a note of anything unusual about the wheels; the price is confirmed on the call.
The van needs a level bay with room beside the car: Hopwood Park services at J2, Shirley retail car parks, NEC or airport parking at J6, the trading estates around Coleshill near J9, Ventura Park at J10. No setup on the carriageway or in emergency areas.

The fitting van carries its own tyre machine and balancer, but it needs space. Allow roughly a car door's swing beside the wheel, flat tarmac under the jack, and a neighbouring bay or clear lane so the van shuts nobody in. Private bays at the NEC or a Solihull office need permission first. Because the whole job happens there, the car never limps on the damaged tyre along the A45. Ventura Park at Tamworth and the Coleshill trading estates by J9 suit well.
