The M69 is a 16-mile motorway linking Coventry to Leicester via Hinckley. It runs from the M6 junction 2 at Coventry to the M1 junction 21 at Leicester, with a single junction at Hinckley in between. It is a key commuter and freight link on the eastern edge of Warwickshire.

Can you repair my puncture at the roadside on the M69?
In most cases, yes. Once you are parked somewhere safe on the M69, we take the wheel off, remove the tyre from the rim and check the damage from the inside. If it meets BS AU 159 we fit a proper patch there and then and refit the balanced wheel before you set off.
When can a tyre not be repaired?
A repair is off the table if the hole is in or near the sidewall, larger than 6mm, sits outside the central three quarters of the tread, or the tyre has been driven on while flat. Any of those weakens the casing, so we fit a replacement rather than send you back onto the motorway on a tyre we cannot stand behind.
Is a roadside repair as good as one done in a garage?
It is the same job. We follow BS AU 159 either way: wheel off, tyre off the rim, inspected inside, a combined plug and patch fitted, then rebalanced. Done to that standard the repair lasts the working life of the tyre, whether we do it on the M69 or on a workshop floor.
How much does a puncture repair cost compared with a new tyre?
A repair costs a good deal less than a replacement, which is why we always check whether yours qualifies first. There is nothing to pay up front: the enquiry is free, and we confirm the price with you on the phone before we set off.
