No tyre shop between Coventry and Leicester needs to be found. The van carries a tyre machine, a wheel balancer and stock, so the car stays parked off the M69 throughout.
Without services on the M69, a driver with a damaged tyre is usually in a retail or business car park off J1, J2 or one of the end interchanges, with no idea where the nearest fitting centre is and no wish to limp there on a space-saver. A garage visit also means waiting in a queue. The alternative is a fully equipped van coming to the car.
Everything a workshop would use travels with us: a tyre machine that breaks the old tyre free and mounts its replacement, a balancer that spins each wheel and shows where the weights go, a torque wrench set to the maker's figure for the nuts, and a stock of common sizes. The wheel comes off, goes back on balanced, and the old tyre leaves with us. You never drive anywhere, and the price is set before we start.
The van needs a level space beside the car, so a Fosse Park bay, a Hinckley retail car park off the A5 or the Ansty Park roads near M6 J2 suit it. Sloping verges and slip roads do not.

Space matters more than shelter at Fosse Park or Hinckley: kneeling room at the wheel, a spot for the van alongside, and level tarmac so the jack stands true. Private bays at Ansty Park are fine with the owner's agreement. Blocking a Fosse Park lane or a Hinckley delivery entrance causes grief, so choose an end bay. With the changer and balancer carried to your wheel, the car never moves from the bay you picked off the M69, however long the fitting and balancing take.
Park up in Hinckley, Ansty or Fosse Park and the whole fitting bay drives out to you.
