24 Hour Tyre Repair · M69

24-hour tyre repair at the roadside
on the M69.

How far you drive on a flat on the M69 often decides whether it is a quick patch or a new tyre. The moment the pressure warning shows or the car starts to pull, ease off to a safe place and call. Caught early, even at 3am, a puncture on the M69 is usually one we can repair to BS AU 159 rather than replace.

Keep going on a soft tyre and the sidewall grinds against the road until a repair is no longer safe, so stopping promptly is what saves it. Get clear of traffic first, into an emergency area or off at the next junction, and never sit in a live lane. On a motorway stand behind the barrier if you can. Then we come to you and repair the tyre where it stands.

If the tyre has already run flat or the damage is in the sidewall, we will be honest that a patch will not hold and fit a replacement instead. Either way the cost, including any small out-of-hours supplement, is agreed before we set out, with nothing to pay up front.

  • Stop early, save the tyre: a prompt call on the M69 is usually repairable
  • Patched to BS AU 159: a proper internal repair at any hour
  • Honest replacement when needed: run-flat or sidewall damage gets a new tyre
  • Nothing to pay to book: a fitter to the M69 day or night, around 60 minutes

About the M69

The road we cover.

The M69 is a 16-mile motorway linking Coventry to Leicester via Hinckley. It runs from the M6 junction 2 at Coventry to the M1 junction 21 at Leicester, with a single junction at Hinckley in between. It is a key commuter and freight link on the eastern edge of Warwickshire.

Wherever you've stopped along it, at any hour, we come to you and repair the tyre on the spot rather than leave you waiting until a garage opens.

M69 FAQs

24 Hour Tyre Repair on the M69, answered.

Can you really repair a puncture on M69 in the middle of the night?
Yes. The repair service runs day and night, so a fitter can come out to the M69 at 3am just as readily as at midday. Provided you have stopped somewhere safe and the damage is repairable, we take the wheel off, patch it to BS AU 159 and rebalance it there and then, subject to a fitter being free.
Will I need a new tyre, or can the puncture be patched?
It depends where the damage is. A clean object through the central tread is usually repairable within BS AU 159, and that is always our first choice because it costs you far less than a replacement. A cut sidewall, a torn tread or a tyre that has been driven on flat cannot be mended safely, and in that case we tell you straight and fit a new tyre instead.
What should I do while I wait on M69?
Get yourself and any passengers clear of moving traffic first. Pull into an emergency area or the hard shoulder, or leave at the nearest junction, and never sit in a live lane. On a motorway stand behind the barrier if you can. If you are stranded where you cannot move to safety, ring 999 or National Highways on 0300 123 5000, then call us once you are out of harm's way.
How much does an out-of-hours repair cost?
There is nothing to pay up front. A free enquiry takes about two minutes, then we call back to confirm the price and a time that suits, day or night. Night, weekend and bank holiday jobs carry a small out-of-hours supplement, made clear when we call. You will know the full price for the repair, or for a replacement if one proves necessary, before we set off, and you pay once the puncture is repaired.
How quickly can you reach me on the M69?
We aim to be with you within about an hour wherever we can, with real 24-hour cover across the routes we serve. Give us your direction of travel and the nearest junction or marker post so we can pinpoint you fast, and read out the tyre size from the sidewall if you can, in case a replacement turns out to be the safer call.
