A can of sealant or a plug pushed in at the roadside can hide a problem without proving the tyre is safe, and on a fast motorway that is not a gamble worth taking.

Then call, and we will confirm the price, including any modest out-of-hours supplement, before we travel. There is nothing to pay up front, and a replacement is fitted only where the damage genuinely rules a repair out.

About the M25

The M25 is the 117-mile orbital motorway that rings London through 31 junctions, including the Dartford Crossing in the east. It meets the M1 at junction 21, the M40 at junction 16, the M11 at junction 27, the M4 at junction 15, the M3 at junction 12 and the A1(M) at junction 23, so almost every long journey in and out of London touches it. It is one of the busiest and most congestion-prone motorways in Europe, carrying huge volumes of commuter and freight traffic around the clock.

Does driving on the flat change whether you can repair my tyre on M25?
Yes, a great deal. A puncture is most repairable the moment it happens, and every mile on a soft tyre breaks down the sidewall until a patch is no longer safe. Ease off to a safe place as soon as you notice it, and the chance of a repair rather than a replacement is far higher.
Can you really patch a puncture on the M25 in the small hours?
Yes. The repair service runs day and night, so a fitter can come out to the M25 at 3am just as readily as at midday. Provided you have stopped somewhere safe and the damage is repairable, we take the wheel off, patch it to BS AU 159 and rebalance it there and then, subject to a fitter being free.
What should I do to stay safe while I wait on M25?
Get yourself and any passengers away from moving traffic first. Pull into an emergency area or the hard shoulder, or leave at the next junction, and never remain in a live lane.
