Then call, and we will confirm the price, including any modest out-of-hours supplement, before we travel. The A14 begins at the M1 and M6 Catthorpe Interchange and heads east towards the port of Felixstowe. In our area it serves Kettering and Corby, linking the Midlands motorways to the East Coast ports. It is one of the country's busiest freight corridors, heavy with HGV traffic.

Can a puncture on A14 be repaired instead of replaced at night?
Usually, yes. If you have stopped before the tyre ran flat and the damage is a clean object through the central tread, it is repairable within BS AU 159, and that is always our first choice because it costs far less than a new tyre. We patch it from the inside and rebalance the wheel there and then, subject to a fitter being free.
How much will an out-of-hours repair on the A14 cost?
There is nothing to pay up front. A free enquiry takes about two minutes, then we call back to confirm the price and a time, day or night. Night, weekend and bank holiday jobs carry a small out-of-hours supplement, made clear when we call. You will know the price for the repair, or for a replacement if one proves necessary, before any work begins, and you pay once it is done.
Where should I wait for you on A14?

What if the tyre cannot be safely repaired?
If the damage is in the sidewall, on the shoulder, or the tyre has been driven flat, a patch will not hold, so we say so plainly and fit a replacement instead. Read the tyre size off the sidewall when you call and we can carry the right one, so an honest no to a repair still gets you moving.
