The A34 is a major dual carriageway, linking the Oxford ring road north to the M40 and running as a key route through Birmingham. Around Oxford it carries traffic past Kidlington to the M40 at junction 9; through Birmingham it runs as the Stratford Road and Walsall Road towards Cannock. How do I know if my tyre needs replacing rather than repairing?
If the damage is on the sidewall, if the hole is larger than about 6mm, or if the tyre has been run flat or shredded, it is beyond a safe repair.
