What happens
A repair on the M45 that cannot wait.
The M45 carries people who have somewhere to be: commuters heading to Rugby, drivers pushing on along the A45 towards south Coventry, parents due at the school gate. A puncture on the spur does not wait for a convenient day. The choice is between abandoning the plan or getting the car to Dunchurch at J1, a Rugby car park, with the operator's permission, or Watford Gap on the M1, and asking for the repair to be done today.
Tell us by phone when you need to reach Rugby or Coventry and where the car sits; the M45 job could then be done that day, diary allowing, with timing discussed plainly and openly before the call ends. If the hole meets BS AU 159, the puncture is repaired right there beside the car, so there is no trip to a workshop. Outside those limits, you hear that straight away and a replacement is priced instead.
Need something else? Our pages on new tyres fitted on the M45 and broken tyre replacement explain those jobs.
