Large alloys hide nothing. A wheel slightly out of balance tells you about it as soon as the Westway opens up, and the machine that puts it right comes to the car.
This borough is hard on rims. Kensington Church Street has granite kerbs at parking height, the humps around Holland Park strike low profile tyres squarely, and a mews turn in Notting Hill can drag a sidewall along stone. Any of that throws a weight off. The complaint that follows is always the same: fine along the King's Road, then a tremble through the wheel on Cromwell Road heading west, or up on the elevated A40.

Do not expect a balance to straighten a car that tracks towards the kerb on Warwick Road, or that sits with its wheel crooked while going straight ahead. That is alignment, which means bench equipment in a workshop and is not something Rescue Tyres offers. Shaking under the brakes is a disc symptom. The right moments for balancing are new tyres, a patched puncture where the tyre left the rim, a weight thrown off by a hump, or a hum that peaks at one pace.
