When a tyre cannot be saved on New John Street West or Newtown Middleway (A4540), get off the ring road into the nearest side street or a trading estate such as Summer Lane Industrial Estate. Quote the A4540 when you phone, plus whichever works or shop you can see. Your replacement tyre then comes to that parked car, well away from passing traffic.
For the replacement to fit on the first visit, the fitter needs more than width and rim. Quote the load and speed codes printed after the size, check for a run-flat logo, and send a photo of the tyre on the opposite wheel so the pair on that axle matches in type.
