A Cannock flat may well be found in a car park: at the McArthurGlen outlet after two hours in the shops, at Cannock or Hednesford station when the Birmingham train gets in, at Cannock Chase Hospital after a long appointment. On Bell Lane or Sneyd Lane, both carrying the A4124, what you do straight after a flat matters most. Indicate, slow gently, and pull into the nearest residential road or a bay rather than stopping on the carriageway. Once stopped, phone through the street you are on and say whether a spare is on board. If the car is in Short Heath or New Invention, a house number is all we need.
If a Cannock tyre is flat when you come back to the car, check the remaining three before deciding anything.
