These areas are about 79 to 109 miles from our only base at Brent Cross, NW2, and we have no base or van stationed there. Call and we will tell you whether we can take the job; the arrival time is given on the call.

What we can do at the car

• Puncture repairs to BS AU 159, when the damage is in the repairable area of the tread
• New tyres fitted, from budget to premium brands; common sizes are often on the van and other sizes are sourced for the job
• Replacing a tyre that is burst, cut, bulged or badly kerbed
• Locking wheel nut removal, wheel balancing and van tyres

We are a mobile service only, with no walk-in garage, and we do not sell part-worn tyres. We can come in the evening, at night, at weekends and on bank holidays when the diary allows, at the same price as a weekday job, and the price is agreed on the call before any work starts.

When it makes sense to call us

We are most useful here when the car is parked safely, for example at home or at work, and the tyre can wait for a booked visit. If the car is unsafe where it is, your breakdown cover may reach you sooner.

If your route after the repair takes you into central Birmingham, its Clean Air Zone covers the roads inside the A4540 Middleway ring road. GOV.UK has a checker that tells you whether your vehicle would be charged.

The M6, M5, M42 and M54 all run through or around the area. If a tyre fails on a motorway, follow the Highway Code: get onto the hard shoulder or into an emergency area if you can, leave by the nearside doors, wait behind the barrier and call National Highways or your breakdown provider. We never work on a motorway carriageway, hard shoulder, emergency area or slip road. Once the car is safely off the motorway, call us and we will tell you whether we can come to it.
