Leaving the M54 at J1 and heading into Wolverhampton, Cannock Road, the A460, runs down through Springfield. After a blowout, with the car under your control, follow it at a crawl to the nearest Springfield side road or car park. Then call and tell us the road, its number and a landmark such as Wolverhampton station, so the fitter heads to the right spot.
After a tyre blows on the M54, keep the car straight and slow it gently with the hazards on. Still under control?
