The job needs room: roughly a door's width alongside the Clapham or Brixton car for jack, tyre changer and balancer stand, fairly level ground, and a bay the van can use without blocking a driveway or a neighbour's gate. Permit and private bays both work if you have the right to them. Because the machine and balancer travel in the van, the car stays exactly where it is. A Nine Elms basement suits too, provided the van can get in.
