Where a car is stuck in the middle of things, this town has genuine public parking to fall back on: Warwick Road car park and Penncroft car park both have room to take a wheel off properly, and the station car park suits anybody who left the car there for the day. The B474 through Station Parade is tight and busy at either end of the working day, so it is no surface for a jack. Neither is the A355, which climbs away towards Amersham with kerbs and nothing worth calling a shoulder. Junction 2 sits under two miles south.
