It is the edge of it. The A4540 Middleway through Five Ways is the boundary and is itself uncharged, while roads on the city side are charged for non-compliant cars and Edgbaston beyond it is not. Nothing is charged for a car that sits parked while it is worked on.
My tyre split on the kerb going round Five Ways. What should I do?
Leave the roundabout at the first safe exit and stop in a side street or car park, never on the Middleway. A split sidewall cannot be repaired, so read off the size and tell the fitter; the replacement arrives on the van and goes on where you have stopped.
