Bedgrove sits where several busy roads meet the houses: the A41 at Tring Road and Aston Clinton Road running out towards Tring, then the A413 Wendover Road, the Hampden Hall Roundabout on the same route, and the A4157 Oakfield Road as well. Between the roundabouts and the retail park traffic there is plenty for a tyre to find, and most calls from here begin with a pressure warning that came on during a short trip. Drives, bays and car parks.

A drive or the kerb outside it, first and last. Streets here are wide enough in most places that the van can pull in behind without blocking anybody, and no permit or ticket comes into it. The Jansel Square car park is level and handy for anyone whose car will still roll, with the parade's agreement. Retail park surfaces work on the same footing. What does not work is the A41 or the A413, where nothing stands clear of moving traffic, or soft ground at the roadside that will not hold a jack steady.

This is nearly all housing, so the drive outside the house is where most of it happens, and none of those streets is permitted or metered. Jansel Square is the exception worth knowing: it has a car park, it is level, and it is where people actually stop, though it serves the parade rather than anyone else, so a van coming in is a courtesy call. The Vale Retail Park, the Vale Hundreds and Cambridge Close are the same arrangement on a larger scale. Two stations sit roughly the same distance out, Stoke Mandeville and Aylesbury, which gives commuters a choice of where to leave a car. Keep off the A41 near the Aston Clinton Road roundabouts and the A413 at Hampden Hall.
