Old tyre peeled off the rim by the machine. New tyre mounted, inflated, balanced, refitted, nuts torqued. Only the dead tyre goes away. Sidewall size plus bay, and the full price is fixed before the van leaves.

The whole fitting happens beside the car, so the space matters. The fitter needs room alongside the wheel, level ground and a spot for the van that blocks nobody. On Hackney's permit streets that often means the van using a nearby bay or a legal loading spot, approached from the open end of a filtered road. Yards off Wallis Road in the Wick give more room. Since the machine and balancer come to you, a car with a wrecked tyre never needs to be driven.
