Lifting a loaded van wants firm, level ground: the concrete apron of a Bermuda Park unit or a wide driveway in St Nicolas Park, not a grass verge at Galley Common. Shifting some stock or tools forward before the jack goes under takes strain off it. An electric van is heavy for its length, so nothing below the figure stamped on the tyre being removed will do, and the noise grade repays a look.
