There is no station within reach and no public car park worth driving to, which settles where the work happens: a drive, or the stretch of kerb by your own front gate if it is quiet and level. Abbey Road and Bull Street, both part of the B4175, carry the traffic towards Lower Gornal, so a car that has stopped on either should be eased round the corner into a quieter road first. Vans from the Pensnett Trading Estate and Dawley Trading Estate sometimes call from their yards instead, and the whole area sits within DY3, so the postcode alone tells the fitter which side of the estate to aim for.
