The Broadway is a red route with bus lanes down it and loading bays in constant use, so no. A car left standing there is in everyone's way and exposed to traffic. Turn into Chichele Road or one of the quieter terraces behind it and the wheel is taken off there.
I park on a controlled bay in Mapesbury. Is that a problem?
Controlled parking has no bearing on the work itself. What matters is that you are entitled to the bay, that it has not been suspended, and that a van can pull in near enough to reach the car. Give the road, the bay and the registration.
Is it worth repairing a puncture or should I just have a new tyre?
