Building car parks are the usual place for it around here. Whoever runs the barrier has to be told in advance, and the level plus the height limit are worth having to hand. Once that is squared away, the wheel comes off in the bay.
My tyre went while crossing Blackfriars Bridge. What should I do?
Come off the bridge before stopping. Turn into a side street on either bank, well away from the underpass and the embankment, and park where traffic is not passing close. Then call. Where the vehicle is immovable and you feel at risk, dial 999 before making any other call.
Does the Congestion Charge add anything to the job?
