Can the tyre be changed while I am out, with the car left on the drive?
That works often enough. Leave the car unlocked or the key somewhere agreed, put the locking nut key in the glovebox, and say which wheel is the problem. The fitter does the job, puts the old tyre in the van and lets you know when it is finished.
There is a screw in the tread after a run down Leverstock Green Road. Repair or new tyre?
Leave the screw where it is and ring. A hole sitting in the middle of the tread and no wider than BS AU 159 permits is broken off the rim and sealed from behind. Damage out at the shoulder, anything on the sidewall, or a tyre that has already been run flat, all mean a new one.
Is the parking at Bellgate or The Heights any use for a tyre change?
Those bays belong to the centres, so permission rests with them and not with us. Ask on site and most will allow it if the car is away from the entrance and the aisle is not blocked. Failing that, Durrants Hill Car Park or the street outside your own house both work.
