All Saints sits right on the ring road, so tyre trouble here often comes off it. A wheel catches the kerb at Bilston Street Island, a screw lifts off the gutter on Birmingham New Road, or a tyre that was already low gives up at the lights. Most cars end up parked in a residential side street with no drive. That is still a workable spot. The fitter needs the street name, the size from the sidewall and a note of which wheel has gone.

A residential street in All Saints is the usual working surface, the car tucked in close, and better still with the flat facing the pavement. Where that is not possible, a public car park near the station is an option once the operator has been asked. Out of bounds are the tram lines, the ring road islands, the A4123 kerbside and any spot on double yellow lines where the car would have to stay for a while.

Calls come from the residential streets between the Bilston Road and the Birmingham New Road, from homes near The Royal tram stop, and from people who work around the edge of the city centre. Most homes here have no drive, so the car is on the road, and that is fine when it is parked on a straight run of kerb. The trunk roads that box the area in are a different matter: the A4123, the A41 and the A4150 ring road all carry heavy traffic, and a car with a flat must come off them first. Parking in the streets closest to the centre can be controlled, so check the signs. Wolverhampton Station Car Park and Corn Hill Car Park are near enough for a meeting, though an operator car park is best cleared with the operator before the fitter starts work.
