A bolt in the tread found at midnight on a Six Ways terrace can still be a repair rather than a replacement. The overnight fix is a BS AU 159 patch-plug done at the kerb.

A late puncture on Eachelhurst Road or Penns Lane (B4148) is best handled from a lit side road. Pull off, park legally and ring with the road name and a reference point, for example Walmley Ash or Moor End Green.
