Bournville's own roads are too gentle to show a wheel fault. Take the A38 down towards Northfield and the shake appears. The balancer travels to your Linden Road drive to sort it.
Round the village green and along Linden Road nothing moves at a pace that lets an unbalanced wheel announce itself. The A38 Bristol Road on the western edge does, and so does a clear run round the Outer Circle on Watford Road. What throws a wheel out is local and mundane: those narrow canal bridges whose kerbs catch alloys on Mary Vale Road and Bournville Lane, plus the speed cushions on every road behind the Stirchley shops.
Long drives are the village's gift to a mobile fitter. The car is raised where it stands, the wheel comes off, and it goes onto the balancer in the back of the van to be spun until the machine names the light and heavy points. Weights follow: slim ones stuck out of sight on an alloy, clipped ones on a steel rim. A checking spin, then back on at the maker's torque.
Drives on Linden Road, Bournville Lane, Mary Vale Road and the roads off the village green, unrestricted streets in Rowheath and Hazelwell, a Cotteridge side road. Not a bay beside a Pershore Road bus stop, and the Cadbury World car park only where the site agrees.

Balance a wheel after new rubber goes on, after a tyre has come back from an internal repair, or after a weight has been shed in a Cotteridge pothole. Do not expect it to straighten a car dragging left on the Pershore Road while the wheel is held level; that is a tracking matter, and tracking is outside what Rescue Tyres offers. A hum rising with road speed is the true balance symptom.
