When the A421 opens out past Marsh Leys and the floor starts to hum, a wheel has usually shed its balance. The balancer travels to MK40, MK41 and MK42 rather than you driving anywhere.
Balance faults in this town reveal themselves on the bypass and the A428. Round Putnoe and Brickhill at gentle pace the car behaves; out towards the Black Cat roundabout or Bromham a shimmy comes through the steering and passengers feel it underfoot. Two different complaints get muddled together.
