Underground public parking exists close by at Bloomsbury Square and over at Saffron Hill, and either suits a car that can still be driven, height barrier permitting. Where this district differs from the streets north of the railway is the charging boundary: the Congestion Charge zone lies on this side of Euston Road, so a car driven out of here in charging hours pays, while a car left in its bay for a tyre change pays nothing at all.
