The car park at Bentley Road belongs to the housing it serves. A suspended bay on a match day is no use either.
Calls come from the streets around Highbury Grove and Highbury Park, from the terraces down towards Canonbury, and from the Blackstock Road and Green Lanes side where Highbury meets Finsbury Park. The A1201 through Highbury Grove and Highbury Park is a main road with restrictions along much of it, so a turning off beats the road itself. Bays here are controlled and permit-held, which is where the fitter usually ends up. On a match day the streets near the Emirates Stadium and Drayton Park shut to traffic and bays nearby are suspended, so say what time the kick-off is when you ring and the visit gets planned around it. Nothing in the clean air rules applies to a car that is standing still.
