Parking here is mostly permit or pay and display, which is fine for tyre work provided the car is parked within the rules. For a driveable car, Lurke Street Car Park and St Peters Street Car Park are public, and a ground level bay makes the job easier. The High Street, The Broadway and Goldington Road carry too much traffic for kerbside work, and bus stops and loading bays are out. Dame Alice Street and Horne Lane are main routes through the centre as well, so a side street off them is the better stop.
