Weight changes the way the job is done. A laden van needs a heavier jack and firm, level ground beneath it, so the concrete apron of a unit off Icknield Way or a hard farm yard beats a gravel drive that shifts. If you can, lighten the side being lifted. Electric vans are heavier again because of the battery, so a replacement needs a load rating equal to that weight, and the label on a new tyre gives a noise class worth matching on a quiet electric motor.
