Two very different roads shape the work in Blackfen. The A210 through the parade is a stop-start shopping street where wheels meet kerbs at low speed, and the A2 above it is a trunk route where a tyre fails at speed instead. The first produces scuffed rims and slow leaks, the second produces blowouts. Both are dealt with at the car. The A2 is not usable in any circumstances, for us or for you.

Most of the calling comes from the residential streets either side of Blackfen Road and Bexley Road, plus the roads down towards Avery Hill Road and Halfway Street on the B2214. Addresses drift between DA15, SE9 and DA16 depending which end you are at, so the postcode is worth checking before you ring. Houses here generally have a drive or a wide frontage, which is what makes the work simple. There is no council car park in the district, and the shop parking along the parade is owned by the traders, so neither is something to bank on. The parade itself is a poor place to jack a car with the traffic queueing past. The district lies in Greater London, so it is ULEZ ground at every hour, and a wheel change costs nothing under it.
