A car that loses a tyre on the A10 is better moved, slowly and only if it is safe, into a side road in Turnford, Rosedale or Goffs Oak, or onto a drive. The fitter then has room beside the wheel away from the traffic.
The Brookfield Centre, the Pavilions in Waltham Cross, Highbridge Retail Park and the station car parks are private ground, and the owner has to agree before a fitter works there.
Station, retail park and industrial estate car parks are private land. The fitter can work there only if the owner or operator allows it, so check the signs or ask first. A driveway or a quiet, well lit residential street is usually the easiest place for the work.
