"Excellent service from start to finish. He came out quickly to help my mum change her tyre and was extremely friendly."
Mobile tyre fitting
in Whitechapel.
Whitechapel Road carries the A11 past the market stalls and the Royal London, with not one space along it to stop a car that has gone flat. Rescue Tyres comes instead to wherever you have managed to park.
A fitter at your car
in Whitechapel.
The A11 sets the pattern in E1. Market traffic, buses and deliveries crawl along Whitechapel Road all day, which is precisely the speed at which a screw gets pressed into tread without the driver noticing. Commercial Road adds lorry debris a street to the south. The tyre then goes down overnight on a permit bay behind the main road, and that bay is where the fitter works, with the size ordered off the sidewall before the van leaves.

Tyre work in Whitechapel.
What happens here is what happens to city cars: a tyre ruined by something small and sharp, or one run down to the rim. A screw in the centre band of the tread can end as a BS AU 159 repair rather than a new tyre, once the cover is off the wheel and inspected from within. Otherwise a replacement is ordered to the sidewall markings, run-flat, van, SUV and EV sizes included, and fitted at the kerb. Locking nuts are drawn off without a key.
Repairs follow BS AU 159; the legal minimum tread is 1.6mm (GOV.UK).
For the wider area, see mobile tyre fitting across Tower Hamlets; Whitechapel is covered the same way.

Drives, bays and car parks.
A permit bay outside the block is the normal surface and it is enough: firm, level and out of the traffic. Estate car parks serve where the bay belongs to you and somebody can raise the barrier. The public car park on Whitechapel High Street has space enough for anything that will still carry itself that far. What cannot be used is the A11 kerb, a market loading bay while trading is on, or any stretch of Commercial Road.
Cover takes in the terraces and estates set back from those two main roads: the streets between Whitechapel Road and Commercial Road, the blocks up towards Brick Lane, and the flats around Aldgate East. Hospital staff and visitors tend to leave cars on the surrounding streets rather than at the hospital itself. The A11 is a red route with a market alongside it, so there is no version of this job done at that kerb. Mansell Street and Prescot Street are little better at the western end. A resident bay, a paid bay or an estate car park is the working spot. The Congestion Charge boundary stops short of here, though the ULEZ does not.
If the car is parked in Spitalfields or Bethnal Green rather than Whitechapel, the booking works the same way.

24 hours in Whitechapel.
Nights in Whitechapel belong to the shift changes. Somebody coming off at the hospital finds the car flat on a side street, or a driver home late from Commercial Road hears air leaving a tyre at the door. Ring 07473 720871 whenever it happens; the tyre is confirmed and a realistic arrival time given on that call.
What drivers say.
"Fast and great service! Thanks for the Friday night rescue."
